非金属碳(tan)化(hua)物

碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)是由硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)与碳元素(su)以(yi)共价键(jian)结(jie)合的(de)(de)非金(jin)(jin)属碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)物(wu),硬度仅次于金(jin)(jin)刚石和(he)碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硼(peng)。化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)学(xue)式为SiC。无色(se)晶体,外表(biao)氧化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)或(huo)含杂(za)质(zhi)时呈蓝黑色(se)。具有金(jin)(jin)刚石结(jie)构的(de)(de)碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)变(bian)体俗称金(jin)(jin)刚砂。金(jin)(jin)刚砂的(de)(de)硬度挨近金(jin)(jin)刚石,热安(an)(an)稳(wen)(wen)性好,2127℃时由β-碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)转(zhuan)变(bian)成(cheng)α-碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui),α-碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)在2400℃依然(ran)(ran)安(an)(an)稳(wen)(wen)。对氢(qing)氟(fu)酸(suan)水溶液和(he)浓硫酸(suan)安(an)(an)稳(wen)(wen),对浓氢(qing)氟(fu)酸(suan)与硝酸(suan)的(de)(de)混(hun)合酸(suan)或(huo)磷酸(suan)则(ze)不(bu)安(an)(an)稳(wen)(wen)。在空(kong)气氛中被熔融的(de)(de)碱分化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)。它分为人工合成(cheng)碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)和(he)天然(ran)(ran)碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)。天然(ran)(ran)碳化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)称为碳硅(gui)(gui)(gui)(gui)石,首(shou)要赋存于金(jin)(jin)伯(bo)利岩(yan)及火(huo)山角闪岩(yan)中,但其(qi)量甚(shen)少,无挖(wa)掘(jue)价值。

工(gong)业(ye)用碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)为(wei)人工(gong)碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui),SiC含(han)(han)(han)量为(wei)95%~99.5%,常含(han)(han)(han)少量的(de)游离(li)碳(tan),以及Fe2O3、Si和SiO2等(deng)(deng)(deng)杂质(zhi)(zhi)。碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)按(an)结晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)类(lei)型可分(fen)为(wei)六(liu)方(fang)(fang)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)系(xi)(α-SiC)和立方(fang)(fang)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)系(xi)(β-SiC),六(liu)方(fang)(fang)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)系(xi)又(you)因其(qi)结晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)排(pai)列的(de)周期性(xing)不同有(you)六(liu)方(fang)(fang)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)胞的(de)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)型(2H、4H、6H……等(deng)(deng)(deng))和菱形晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)胞的(de)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)型(15R、21R、27R……等(deng)(deng)(deng)),碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)的(de)同质(zhi)(zhi)多晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)结构有(you)100多种(zhong)。工(gong)业(ye)碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)为(wei)α-SiC和β-SiC的(de)混合物(wu),色(se)(se)(se)(se)彩有(you)黑色(se)(se)(se)(se)和绿色(se)(se)(se)(se)两种(zhong)。纯(chun)洁的(de)碳(tan)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)硅(gui)(gui)为(wei)无色(se)(se)(se)(se)通明,含(han)(han)(han)杂质(zhi)(zhi)时呈黑色(se)(se)(se)(se)、绿色(se)(se)(se)(se)、蓝色(se)(se)(se)(se)及黄色(se)(se)(se)(se)。六(liu)方(fang)(fang)和立方(fang)(fang)晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)系(xi),晶(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)(jing)体为(wei)板状(zhuang),复(fu)三方(fang)(fang)柱(zhu)状(zhuang)。具有(you)玻璃光泽(ze),密(mi)度(du)为(wei)3.17~3.47g/cm3,莫氏硬度(du)9.2,显(xian)微硬度(du)30380~33320MPa;熔点:在大(da)气中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)2050℃开端分(fen)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua),在复(fu)原气氛(fen)下2600℃开端分(fen)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua);弹(dan)性(xing)模量为(wei)466、480MPa;抗拉强度(du)为(wei)171.5MPa;耐压(ya)强度(du)为(wei)1029MPa;线膨(peng)胀系(xi)数为(wei)(25~1000℃)5.0×10-6/℃;热导率(20℃)为(wei)59W/(m·K)。化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)学(xue)性(xing)质(zhi)(zhi)安稳(wen),在HCl、H2SO4和HF中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)煮(zhu)沸也不受浸蚀,但在浓(nong)H3PO4中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)于230℃开端分(fen)化(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)。

图中(zhong)为碳化(hua)(hua)硅与(yu)各种(zhong)(zhong)气(qi)体(ti)和化(hua)(hua)学(xue)品的反响 碳化(hua)(hua)硅可用作研磨资料、耐(nai)火(huo)资料、电阻发热元件及脱氧剂(ji)(ji)等。在耐(nai)火(huo)资料工业中,碳化(hua)(hua)硅用来(lai)出产各种(zhong)(zhong)碳化(hua)(hua)硅砖(zhuan),也可用作添加剂(ji)(ji)或抗氧化(hua)(hua)剂(ji)(ji)。

发现(xian)前(qian)史(shi)

碳(tan)化硅(gui)是由美国工程师艾奇(qi)逊(E.G.Acheson)在1891年(nian)电(dian)熔金(jin)刚石(shi)时偶尔发现的(de)(de)一(yi)种碳(tan)化物。其时误认为是和(he)(he)刚玉的(de)(de)化合物,取(qu)名(ming)金(jin)刚砂。1893年(nian),艾奇(qi)逊研(yan)究出制造(zao)碳(tan)化硅(gui)的(de)(de)工业办法,以炭(tan)质资料为炉(lu)芯的(de)(de)电(dian)阻炉(lu),通电(dian)加热SiO2和(he)(he)炭(tan)的(de)(de)混(hun)合物,反响生成碳(tan)化硅(gui)的(de)(de)专(zhuan)利办法(美国专(zhuan)利492767号(hao))。

纯碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)是无(wu)(wu)色(se)(se)(se)通明的(de)(de)晶体。工业(ye)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)则有(you)无(wu)(wu)色(se)(se)(se)、淡黄(huang)色(se)(se)(se)、浅(qian)绿(lv)色(se)(se)(se)、深(shen)绿(lv)色(se)(se)(se)或浅(qian)蓝(lan)(lan)色(se)(se)(se)、深(shen)蓝(lan)(lan)色(se)(se)(se)甚至黑(hei)(hei)色(se)(se)(se)。磨(mo)料职(zhi)业(ye)把碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)按(an)色(se)(se)(se)泽分(fen)为(wei)黑(hei)(hei)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)和绿(lv)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)两(liang)大类,其(qi)间无(wu)(wu)色(se)(se)(se)的(de)(de)直到深(shen)绿(lv)色(se)(se)(se)的(de)(de)都归入绿(lv)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui);浅(qian)蓝(lan)(lan)色(se)(se)(se)的(de)(de)至黑(hei)(hei)色(se)(se)(se)的(de)(de)则归入黑(hei)(hei)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)。碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)多(duo)色(se)(se)(se)的(de)(de)原因与各(ge)种(zhong)(zhong)杂质的(de)(de)存在(zai)有(you)关。工业(ye)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)一般含有(you)2%左右的(de)(de)各(ge)种(zhong)(zhong)杂质,首要(yao)有(you)二(er)氧化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)、硅(gui)、铁、铝、钙、镁(mei)、碳(tan)(tan)(tan)等。当结晶中熔有(you)较(jiao)多(duo)的(de)(de)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)时,结晶是黑(hei)(hei)色(se)(se)(se)。绿(lv)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)较(jiao)脆,黑(hei)(hei)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)较(jiao)韧(ren),前者(zhe)研磨(mo)才能略高于(yu)后者(zhe)。按(an)粒(li)度巨细,产品(pin)分(fen)为(wei)不同的(de)(de)等级(ji)。我国(guo)磨(mo)料职(zhi)业(ye)规(gui)则,黑(hei)(hei)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)有(you)17个(ge)等级(ji);绿(lv)碳(tan)(tan)(tan)化(hua)(hua)硅(gui)有(you)21个(ge)粒(li)度等级(ji)。80号及其(qi)以上的(de)(de)磨(mo)料称磨(mo)粒(li),100~280号磨(mo)料称磨(mo)粉(fen)。

低档次的碳化硅可用做(zuo)炼钢脱氧(yang)剂(ji)及铸铁添加(jia)剂(ji)。
